Heroes

 In today’s society, people consider heroes to be the people that help us, save lives, etc. Most people see heroes as the firefighters of our community, the police officers, who patrol our neighborhoods, and much more. Although, if you think about it, firefighters can help our country not just our community and same for police officers. Today, demonstrates that well. After all, it is 9/11/2019. I was not alive this day when terrorist took over the planes of our country and made destruction. I do not have a memory of where I was and the whole shebang of what happened embedded in my brain. Although, I do see how extremely terrible this day was and know how hard people fought for our country when terror did strike us. I cannot even put into words how heroic the firefighters and police officers, and just ordinary people were that day. I would call most, if not all, of them heroes. Today, people are mourning the loss of their friends, family, and loved ones that died on this day eighteen years ago. It is a rough part of our countries history as we still remember that day and mourn for those, who are not with us due to 9/11. Today is also a day to give thanks to those who died for many, saved lives, and who are and still heroes to our country. I pray for God to be with us all especially today in remembrance of 9/11.
